Restoring Hope Through Housing

GCHC believes that housing is the foundation for health and stability.
Through the Rapid Rehousing Program, we work to remove barriers, restore dignity, and help residents across Genesee County secure a safe place to call home.

Rapid Rehousing is an intervention designed to help individuals and families who don't need intensive and ongoing support to quickly exit homelessness and return to permanent housing.

Rapid re-housing assistance is offered without preconditions, such as employment, income, the absence of a criminal record, or sobriety, and the resources and services provided are tailored to the unique needs of the household.

*Must be referred from the Coordinated Entry (Metro Community Development) 810-544-HELP) and verified as experiencing homelessness to be placed on the waiting list to receive assistance.
